MEET THE DIRECTOR

Michelle is the creator, owner and Chief Executive Officer of Rolling Hills Montessori. She was born and raised in England. After completing high school, Michelle attended Rosebank Business School in South Africa. Returning to England, she decided to follow her true passion and began a career in education in 1988, graduating from St. Nicholas Montessori Training School in London with a Highly Commended Teaching Credential.

In 1989, Michelle and her husband visited America. They liked it so much that they later moved to California with their three sons. Michelle went back to her love of teaching, working for the Palos Verdes Unified School District, firstly with special needs children, and then as a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. She truly missed her Montessori beliefs and training, and so returned to the world of Montessori as a Director / Teacher for a local Montessori school.

It was always Michelle's dream to have a Montessori school of her own and, after searching for the perfect location, her dream became a reality and so came the birth of her fourth child - Rolling Hills Montessori.
